Sandy Campo, Fitness Studio Coordinator
Sandy has 12 years of experience as a fitness instructor and 7 years as a martial arts instructor.  Her certificates include ACE Personal Trainer, Johnny G Spinning, NAPMA Kickboxing and Self Defense.  Sandy is a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys cooking, sewing, camping and hiking in her spare time.  Sandy has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing and an associates degree in Legal Secretarial Science.  Her training philosophy is:  "life is not a spectator sport, so participate.  Attitude is EVERYTHING!"

 

Cheryl Labriola

Cheryl  Labriola is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise, (ACE).  Her education includes studying at Mass Bay Community College in their Physical Therapy Assistant Program, and with the Arthritis Foundation, becoming certified in their Land Exercise Program.  Cheryl can help all   beginner/intermediate level clients familiarize themselves with exercise technique, to facilitate a solid comfort level with an exercise program and facility usage.  She believes that exercise is the cure to many physical and psychological barriers. Cheryl wants her clients to have fun and enjoy exercising while utilizing a variety of equipment.  She will design an exercise program based on individual goals and capabilities to have an effective workout.  “Since exercise is a necessary evil, let’s enjoy it and make it a habit!”


   

Matthew Valyo - Personal Trainer

Matt is a certified National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer.  Matt is outstanding at developing sport specific exercise routines and training regimens.  He is an experienced tri-athlete, certified mountain bike instructor, has an educational background in nutrition and weight loss, and also can teach you Russian Kettlebell Basics (a Kettlebell is pictured with Matt, left).  Matt enjoys sports and the outdoors.  Matt's philosophy is that safety and good technique will bring bigger and better gains faster than lots of weights and poor habits. 

 

 

 

Nate Jyringi - Personal Trainer / Kids' Club

Nate is an ACE certified personal trainer and an American Red Cross certified lifeguard. He is also a MA certified K-12 physical education teacher, working in the Westborough Public Schools. Nate holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in movement and sports studies and a clinical master of education degree in movement science from Westfield State College. His areas of strength include weight loss, weight gain, free weights, and individualized program development. Nate also enjoys training for road races, weight training, hiking, and competitive sports.

                

Terry Hickey

Terry is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, holds a doctorate in psychology, and has 2 years of experience working in health clubs.  She is also certified by USWFA as an Aquatic Fitness Instructor.  In her spare time Terry enjoys chocolate sculpting, swing dancing and contra dancing.  Terry believes that everyone needs to find a fitness routine that fits them.

 

Eric Brunell

Eric is a certified preK-12 physical education teacher and currently teaches at the elementary level in Millbury.  He holds a bachelor's degree from Westfield State College in Movement Science.  He is also scheduled to complete his Clinical Masters of Education degree at Westfield State College in the summer of 2007.  Eric especially enjoys teaching children about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. He also enjoys weight training, basketball, and anything that keeps him active.  Eric believes that when training, you should go into a workout knowing exactly what you are going to do for that day.  If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Rich Cassidy

Rich holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He has 3 years of experience working as a Personal Trainer.  Rich' specialty is designing sports specific training programs.  He is also adept at helping people develop their core as well as their endurance.  In his spare time he enjoys hiking, martial arts, and taking part in triathlons.  Rich believes you should do something you enjoy and be consistent.

Angela is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer with 6 years experience, 9 years experience as a fitness instructor certified by AFAA and 4 years experience as Nutrition Specialist for Fitness Professionals (LMA).Angela is what you call a “Jane” of all trades, such as Phys Ed Teacher for 4 years K-12, Team building excursions, worked with youth for 15+ years, and had 3 of her own businesses one being private in home exercise consultant.  Angela is an energetic motivator.  Angela believes in you as an individual and will help you find your way to whom and what you want to be.  Starting is the hardest part….after that it’s all smiles and successes!

 

Judy Potter

Judy has a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from UMASS Lowell with a minor in nutrition. She is an AFAA certified personal fitness trainer. Judy enjoys running and any type of strength and endurance training. She will work with beginner exercisers and individuals who want to add variety to their exercise routine. She has the passion to share her knowledge and experience with others so that they make fitness a priority in their lives.   "Give yourself the gift of exercise for a longer and healthier life!"
