
Gym & Swim is open to
Children from
2.9 – 5 years of age.
Children must be potty trained.

Children should come
To Gym & Swim with:
*bathing suit
*Towel
*comfortable clothes
*Sneakers
Through Gym & Swim your child will have the opportunity to learn important fundamental techniques by incorporating various gross motor skills. The diversity of games, skills and fun activities will allow your child to grow physically, mentally and socially. For coordination and motor skill development, it is important for children at an early age to gain the understanding of how the body can move. Also, the interaction with their peers will enhance their socialization skills. Throughout the eight week session many developmental skills will be addressed.
Each week your child will receive a 40 minute Red Cross Swim Lesson and also be involved in a 40 minute gym time which will include parachute games, ball games, use of jump ropes, obstacles courses, and many other fun activities! Each week the class will focus around a theme, such as, The Circus, Animal Fun, Luau, Safety Day or many other fun themes.
Gym & Swim classes run in
6 – 10 week sessions depending on the schedule
Classes are offered either on
Tuesday or Friday Mornings
from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Drop off is on the Basketball Court in the Fitness Center
&
Pick up is at the Pool
