Stephen Ferris - Tennis Coordinator / Assistant Pro
Stephen joined us in the tennis department as part owner and tennis coordinator in May of 2005. Stephen graduated from Babson in 1989 with a degree in marketing. Stephen competes in USTA level tournaments and has recently finished the year ranked as high as number 4 in New England in Men's 35 and over singles and has also finished the year ranked 20th in the Nation in the same USTA category. As well as having an extensive tennis resume, Stephen was an avid lacrosse player who played Nationally and coached at the collegiate and high school level. If you are looking to get involved in tennis programs here at the club, Stephen is the person to talk to!
Ville Liukko - Director of Tournament Training Program
Ville joined us in September of 2005. Ville hails from Finland, and was formerly ranked 117 in the world in singles! He was also Captain of the Finnish Davis Cup Team and the number one tennis player in Finland. To our knowledge, Ville is the highest ranked contemporary tennis professional teaching tennis in the Northeast. Check here for the transcript from one of the articles appearing in the Boston Globe.

Vlatko Bosevski - USTA High Performance Coach
Coach Vlad joined us in August of 2007, and originally hails from Belgrade, Serbia. He has been participating in the tennis world since 1980 as a player and since 1996 as both as a player and a coach. He has competed in professional tournaments both in his home country and later on in Macedonia and Europe. As a coach he has worked with both high performance juniors and adults. Among his many certifications are ITF, PTA, USTA and PTR where he is an International Tester. Vlatko with be working with all levels at Westboro Tennis and Swim Club including both USTA programs, ITP and the woman's teams. Charlene Sargeant - Assistant Tennis Pro
Charlene joined Westboro Tennis as a Pro in the Spring of 2007. Charlene is from Ann Arbor Michigan where as a junior she was ranked consistently in the top 5 in the mid-west section and became a top ranked national player. She then played for the University of Wisconsin which was one of the top programs in the country. She has an extensive teaching background both in Michigan and Wisconsin. While at Wisconsin she obtained a degree in pharmacology and worked in the pharmaceutical industry in research and development for over 13 years. Charlene will be working with adults and high performance juniors during the week.
Dave Delworth - Assistant Tennis Pro
Dave joins us from Waltham Athletic Club where he had been teaching juniors and adults for the past year. Dave resides in Grafton with his wife. Dave is a 2001 graduate of Division 2 Bryant College where he played Varsity for 4 years in the number #3 singles and #1 doubles position. During his years, Bryant advanced to the New England 10 finals 3 times. Dave was also named MVP his senior year. Dave spent the first 5 years after graduation in the army working with a tank division where he rose to the rank of Captain. Thirteen months of that time were spent overseas in Iraq. Dave finished 2006 as #1 in New England in the men's 4.5. He is available evenings and will be working with the varsity program on Sunday's.
